I have tried using Sony Ericson PC Suite for my W810i. Its consumed a lot of memory and slowed down my PC!!!. Then I came across this wonderful software called MyPhoneExplorer from FJ Software Development. It is very compact and works really great. With this software installed, connecting and synchronising your Sony Ericsson mobile to PC will be a cakewalk. But you need to have the drivers for your phone installed on your PC. The steps to install only drivers without the PC Suite are:
- Put the CD given with your SE mobile into the disc drive
- Plug in your phone with the PC using the USB data cable given with the mobile.
- “Add Hardware’ dialog box will pop up. Give “Install Drivers automatically”
- If prompted to install PC suite, ignore it.
