Interbrand is an international branding consultancy with 40 offices in 25 countries. Interbrand releases an annual ranking of the best global brands along with BusinessWeek magazine. The best global brands 2008 report is attached here. The top 10 brands in the list are:
- Coca-Cola
- IBM
- Microsoft
- GE
- Nokia
- Toyota
- Intel
- McDonald’s
- Disney
You may note that there is a stark contrast in the brand values between Interbrand Best Global Brands and BrandZ Top 100 brands (my earlier post). The difference is due to the changes in the brand valuation methodology adopted by these companies. I’ll explain that in my following post.
